Workshops And Short Courses

AIM

The aim is to provide both students and community members space to debate and reflects on current issues that affect both the society and the church at any given time. To empower communities through awareness and knowledge.

CCT host a different number of workshops in the areas surrounding KwaZulu-Natal. We target most areas that are rural with the aim to empower and sustain them with knowledge on different issues at any given time. We target different themes from: HIV/AIDS, Homosexuality, Widowhood and any other traditional or church related issues that are troubling the communities at large. This year we had in total 4 workshops and 3 short courses in the following areas of KwaZulu-Natal:

 

  • Durban: Domestic Violence
  • Estcourt: Widows and HIV/AIDS
  • Mazukashe Inkandla: Basic knowledge on HIV/AIDS
  • Ladysmith: HIV/AIDS and traditional medicines
  • Durban: Church registration and marriage course (Only our students)
  • Estcourt: Church registration and marriage course (Only our students)
  • 10 days counselling course (Basic Christian counselling)
